About Us
We’re a team of builders, designers, and problem-solvers creating tools that make project management feel effortless.
#Origin
Project management shouldn’t feel like busywork. Too many teams spend hours juggling spreadsheets, switching between Jira, GitHub, Sentry, Slack, and a client status doc that’s always out of date. We built Kavanah as a single workspace where the board, the code, the deploy, the incident, and the client update share one timeline — with AI agents handling the glue work so your team can focus on shipping.

#The Name
כַּוָּנָה
/ka·va·NAH/ · Hebrew
Kavanah is a Hebrew word meaning intention, focus, or directed consciousness. In Jewish thought it describes the inner intention behind an action — the difference between reciting words and meaning them, between performing a ritual and inhabiting it.
The root k-v-n carries the sense of directing, aiming, aligning, and orienting toward something. The Talmud frames prayer without kavanah as a body without a soul. In Kabbalah and Hasidism the idea deepens: every action can carry spiritual intention; consciousness itself shapes outcome.
We chose the name because that’s the bet underneath the product. Project work fails not from lack of tools but from lack of alignment — between people, between intent and action, between the plan and the day. Kavanah is software built to keep teams oriented toward what they actually meant to do.

Validated inside the studio
Kavanah went through AW3's idea-to-MVP process — opportunity sizing, market validation, and pre-seed underwriting — before a line of production code was written.
Shared design + engineering
AW3's in-house senior engineers, designers, and ops staff staffed the build phase. Kavanah inherits a shared component library, deploy pipeline, and AI infra rather than rebuilding them.
Studio capital + GTM
Pre-seed capital, brand, and pitch infrastructure came from AW3. The studio actively supports fundraising, design-partner introductions, and the first GTM hires.
Portfolio network effects
Cross-portfolio collaboration with AW3's other AI and Web3 companies surfaces design partners, integrations, and shared infrastructure earlier than a standalone seed would.
Supported by an advisor network across finance, education, and technology — including leaders from Baird Augustine, Bitwage, and Blocksee.
